Youth Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to lead the youth into a solid, unyielding relationship with the Lord, Christ Jesus in which the youth recognize and worship Christ as God, friend, king, savior, advocate, etc.
Communication with God and spending time with God are stressed.
Sound biblical teaching is the foundation for the youth to make choices to trust and obey God.
Youth are urged to explore who they are in Christ and how biblical principles should be incorporated into their lives.
Scriptures are chosen for a calendar year to help guide the youth in their quest for a committed relationship with Christ. The scripture emphasis for 2007 is Psalm 37:4, “Delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart”.
Where and when appropriate activities are used to strengthen teachings and develop youth socially, emotionally, and physically and encourage youth to invite Christ into their daily routines.
