The Home Mission Ministry
The Home Mission Ministry of the Second Olivet Missionary Baptist Church is committed to the “Work of the Church.” That is to remember and address the plight of the disenfranchised and the disposed of society. “The Home Mission Ministry” of the Second Olivet Baptist Church is active in feeding, clothing, and ministering to the homeless, and disposed.
The Second Olivet Home Mission Ministry has an “adopt a family program” where we focus on the entire needs of the entire family. To aid and assist an adopted family in all areas of need: mentally, physically, socially, educationally, and financially.
The Second Olivet Home Mission Ministry also has a “Adopt a School program” that focus on working with and assisting elementary schools in Detroit’s 48208 zip code area. This assistance can include after school mentoring in “STEM, History, and English” along with financial support.
To this end the Home Mission Ministry of the Second Olivet Missionary Baptist Church commits their support.
